Athletics
Min. Sherman Helton Jr., Coordinator
Our goal is to help the Body of Christ live a healthy lifestyle that inhabits the Living Spirit of God. This will enable us to show the entire world through athletics that Christians can compete, challenge, and change minds, bodies, and souls because we respect the temple (Body) God has given us.

Beautification
Sis. Barbara Baptist, Coordinator
The mission of the beautification ministry is to make our church home as comfortable as possible, a place where our Christian family loves to gather, and where our friends love to drop by. When God's people walk into our church home, we want them to have a peaceful feeling which encourages spiritual communications with God.

Benevolence
Deacon Robert King, Coordinator
We are determined to help meet the needs of the families in our church and in our community through charity.

Boys To Men
Deacon Ken Seals & Min. Sherman Helton Jr., Coordinators
This Ministry is to develop and mentor the young men in the church by example and precepts. We do this through various means such as outings, fellowship, and the sharing of other influential men in the community.

Bus Ministry
Deacon John E. Leake, Coordinator
In an effort to go fourth and remain in line with our church mission, the bus ministry brings lost souls to Christ. Not only by letting our lights shine, but to provide transportation to those in need throughout the neighborhood and community.

Choir
Sis. Clementine Breakfield, President
Sis. Rachel Graham, Directress

The Choir magnifies God through music and songs so that the presence of God may give joy that flows through each person who enters our worship service; and the joy will remain in the hearts of men daily; and the world can't drown it.

Deacons
Deacon John E. Leake, Chairman
Our mission is to assist the Pastor in overseeing the total vision of the church.

Early Morning Praise
Rev. Sherman Helton Jr., Coordinator
Our mission is to reach lost souls as we give praise. Praise the name of the Lord from the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same (Psalm 1:3). This ministry also provides an avenue for persons to come to the altar and pray prior to the worship. Our Associate Ministers bring the message each Sunday morning with the exception of the 1st Sunday of each month which is brought by our Pastor.

Evangelism
Our mission is seeking God's grace and becoming Christian Stewards; working to bring non-believers to Christ by sharing the Good News, personal testimonies, and spreading Christian ministry.

Girl Scouts
Sis. Sharron Wofford, Troop Leader
The purpose of this ministry is to help develop young girls from the ages of 5 to 17 to become functional members of their church and community.

Greeter's Ministry
Sis. Shelia Seals, Coordinator
Our mission is to welcome each and every individual that enters into the doors of New Hope Baptist Church with the warmth and love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Health & Wellness
Dr. Bettye Baptist-Wilson, Coordinator
Our goal is to help others pursue and enhance a healthy lifestyle by educating and promoting health awareness by way of seminars, aerobics, health screening, etc.

Hospitality
Leola Ross, Mattie Hailey & Barbara Baptist, Coordinators
Jesus said that "men will know that you are my disciples by the love you have one to another". Our mission is to provide such; When one enters into our church we want you to feel that you have come into the presence of God. It is in that atmosphere that one would be compelled to return.

Jewels & Daughters of The King
First Lady Pamela Helton & Sis. Tomika Bentley, Coordinators
The mission of the organizations DOK and JOK is to prepare young girls in becoming loving, responsible and Christ-like citizens. We teach them to love themselves and Psalms reminds them that they have been fearfully and wonderfully made. Purpose driven according to God's plan for their lives is what they are challenged with as they pursue eternity and help others to pursue it by learning and living it.

Men's Ministry
Deacon Tommy Floyd, Coordinator
The mission of the Men's Ministry is for men to take an active role in the building of Christ's Kingdom. According to the scriptures, men are the priests of their household. Therefore, we are the head and not the tail; the engine and not the caboose.

Mission Ministry
Sis. Erma Warren, President
"Our mission is, to go". "And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:18-19).

Mother Board
Mother Daisy Walton, Coordinator
Our mission is to aid in Church Worship and Ordinance Observance (Baptism & The Lord's Supper); provide spiritual counsel for the young women; exemplify spiritual nurturing to the church body.

New Member Orientation
Sis. Doris M. Leake & Min. Ardavia Vinson, Coordinators
This ministry is designed to orientate new members, whether by baptism or transfers, concerning the function of our church. By doing so, it deepens the new members' understanding and commitment so they'll become involved in promoting the spiritual growth of this church.

Philippians Club
Sis. Delois Abram, Coordinator
Our mission is to administer aid to our Pastor and Wife and to see that he is physically prepared to nurture his church family. When you read in the scriptures, you will find that the Philippian church was more generous to the Apostle Paul than any other church.

Prayer Ministry
First Lady Pamela Helton, Coordinator
The prayer ministry fosters within the congregation a concerted and focused mindset for continuous prayer. It is our goal to have prayer seven (7) days a week with specifically each day of the week. Each cell is made up of seven (7) persons including the prayer cell leader.

Prison Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to evangelize to persons who are incarcerated. This ministry also gives persons a sense of caring and love from various members of the church. We also encourage them that God is a God of second chances.

Publicity Ministry
Sis. Gail Lyons, Coordinator
Proclaiming the good news that Jesus is Lord (Acts 5:42): through newsletter, TV, radio, internet, and other forms of communication.

S.A.L.T (Saved Anointed Living Testimonies)
First Lady Pamela Helton, Coordinator
SALT introduces young people to praise and worship through the medium of dancing. Further, it is to teach them that these movements are not a performance, but a ministry through inspirational music. It is to emphasize to them that God is worthy of all praise and worship. Conduct, attitude and discipline are all vital to the members maintaining an active role in this ministry.

Senior's Ministry
Sis. Laddie Henderson, Coordinator
This ministry is designed to reach persons who are "seasoned"; normally we think of persons who are in the sixties and up. It provides a fellowship that involves outings, meetings, luncheon, etc. The Seniors Ministry gives seniors an outlet to be productive.

Sunday School
Sis. Bobbie Saulsberry, Superintendent
Sunday School is one of the primary teaching mechanisms of the local church. Believers are encouraged to study which enables them to grow and mature in the faith. The apostle Paul states "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also" (2 Tim. 2:2)

Our Sunday School does the following: establishes a relationship with Christ, develops soul winners, mobilize persons for ministry and teaching that transform.
